Disabling the pedal assist on the Mono

In the case where the user isn’t confident riding the bike with pedal assist
enabled, there is a way to disable it and only use the throttle to
engage/regulate the speed of the motor. Please see below for the instructions on
how to do this.
Unlock and then remove the battery from the bike.
Remove the four screws in the base of the battery receptacle and then lift out
the receptacle.
Open the black housing beneath to expose the controller and wiring by removing
the side of the casing.
Unplug the connectors as shown. Refit the parts in reverse order. The motor on
your bike is now solely controlled using the throttle and will no longer provide
assistance when the bike is only being pedalled.
