Motor Performance Charts

Detailed performance data to help you understand what your motor is capable of on hills and flat roads. Please consult us before purchasing.

How to Read the Charts

The horizontal axis shows bike speed in mph (1–23 mph). Bikes are legally limited to 15.5 mph. The vertical axis shows power in Watts (0–800W).

The four thin coloured plots represent hill gradients (0–15%), showing the power needed to climb. The thick red plot shows motor output at full throttle. Real-life performance may be 5–10% lower with a headwind. Charts are for guidance only.

8Fun SWXK Motor (Woosh Santana)

Flat road max speed16.5 mph
5% gradient max11.5 mph
10% gradient max3.5 mph
15% gradientCannot climb on throttle alone

8Fun BPM Motor (Woosh Big Bear)

Speed limited to 15 mph by computer.

Flat road max speed20.5 mph
5% gradient max15 mph
10% gradient max8.5 mph
15% gradientCannot climb on throttle alone

TCM Crank Drive Motor

All Woosh CD bikes use the TCM crank drive motor. Power goes through the chain and sprockets, so each gear gives a different response. Recommended gear on throttle:

  • 8Flat roads
  • 73% gradient
  • 65% gradient
  • 210% gradient
  • 1Steeper than 10%

All CD bikes are restricted to 15 mph by computer. Speeds above 15.5 mph are illegal on public roads.
